Deep crawl

The phrase deep crawl is related to the term crawl and describes the process of a search engine examining web pages for their content and listing them accordingly in a directory. With deep crawl, the sub-pages are also analyzed accordingly as well as the deep links on a web page. An independent assessment and indexing of the individual sub-pages should take place using deep crawl. The PageRank and link popularity are used as criteria for the evaluation.
