Hyperlink

Electronic references to a web page are known as hyperlinks or links for short. Hyperlinks are frequently marked by colors, underlines or other text formatting. The link is a cross-reference to a topic, another web page or another point in the text, which makes the jump to a different location possible without additional searching.
